TRAY + CANOPY BUILD FOR NICK MORTON
Some builds are made to sit pretty.
This one wasn't.
Create a tray and canopy setup that worked properly off-road, carried what it needed to carry, and looked like it belonged on one of Australia's most capable touring platforms.
From the first CAD model through to fabrication and testing out in the bush, the whole setup was designed around one thing:
Use it hard. Build it properly.
THE BRIEF
Nick wanted a setup that could handle the realities of touring and off-road use without turning the back of the Cruiser into a mess of wasted space.
The tray and canopy needed to feel integrated with the vehicle, make smart use of every available millimetre and give him a practical platform that could evolve with the way he uses the truck.
No unnecessary shit.
No bolt-on afterthoughts.
Just a well-resolved setup designed around the vehicle and the person using it.
